RENTAL GUIDELINES
These rules are for the protection of the residents, vacationers, the environment and wildlife. Noise and rowdiness are not tolerated. Your behavior will be monitored by security.
If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet retreat, Walnut Mountain is the perfect location for you.
These rules are meant to protect the peaceful integrity of the mountain community and will ensure that your getaway will be peaceful and quiet in this unspoiled environment.
These rules protect the peace, privacy and environment of Walnut Mountain.
Good Neighbor Policy
River Glorious is in a remote area but there are neighboring cabins that include both short-term guests and year-round residents. Please be considerate of the neighbors with your noise and activities as noise travels through the mountains. We want you to enjoy your stay at our cabin, but not at the expense of the neighbors. Guests are asked to conform to all rules and regulations of the property and gated community. Violators are subject to eviction with loss of rental payment and security deposit.
No smoking.
No pets.
No firearms, no weapons, no fireworks. The danger of forest fire is evident.
No noisy, drunken, rowdy or wild parties.
River Glorious will only be rented to families, married couples or responsible single adults over 30 with quiet groups such as church retreats who are seeking a quiet and tranquil location for a getaway.
Family Rentals Only!
River Glorious will not be rented to vacationing students, singles (under 25), or chaperoned groups. Our cabins are monitored for violation of this policy. All violators will be evicted and all rental payments and security deposits will be forfeited. This policy includes reservations made by parents that do not check-in, and/or who leave overnight during the length of the stay.
No sororities, fraternities, rowdy loud parties, house parties, loud music, unsupervised teenagers, prom, graduation, spring break, chaperoned groups, student groups, etc. will be permitted. Misrepresentation of intent will result in immediate eviction without refund and an additional $100 per person charge to your credit card. Any violation of this rule will result in an expedited eviction from the property without refund and forfeiture of all monies including deposit paid.
Maximum Number of Guests is 12 unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. Violation of this policy will automatically result in forfeiture of full rental payment and security deposit. A $100 per person fee plus applicable taxes will be charged on all guests over agreed upon number. Reservations made under false pretenses results in forfeiture of full rental payment and security deposit. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Guests will be required to depart immediately, with no refund, if any of the following is discovered:
 house parties and excessive noise rowdinessmore than the maximum number of guests permitted Campers, trailers, motor homes, ATVs, motorcycles fireworks and firearms rentals obtained under false pretense or misrepresentationsmoking inside petsfailure to obey Walnut Mountain rules and policiesOccupancy will not exceed what guests have reported to Stressbuster. Any discrepancy will result in eviction and loss of deposit.
Guests will respect not only the property, but also the neighbors and the wildlife, in order to maintain the peace and quiet that everyone comes to Walnut Mountain to enjoy and experience.
Guests will be responsible to pay for any actual damages to the property or its contents during your stay. Guests will also forfeit your deposit.
Guests will be responsible for any damage to Walnut Mountain property or any neighbor's property.
Walnut Mountain is a tranquil environment meant for the purpose of peace and relaxation.
Guests will forfeit all money paid and be evicted immediately if you are disturbing the tranquility of the community day or night.
The Walnut Mountain Association, the neighbors or Walnut Mountain security will call law enforcement to report any rowdiness, drunkenness and disturbing the peace.
Walnut Mountain security officers strictly enforce the policies to protect the peace and tranquility of Walnut Mountain.
Walnut Mountain is a private gated community with strict restrictions that protect and honor the peace and quiet of the mountain, its residents and the wildlife.
No motorcycles, house trailers, recreational vehicles, ATVs, boats and trailers are permitted in Blackberry Mountain community.
Gate entrance and speed limits in Walnut Mountain are strictly enforced by security.
NO SMOKING
Thank you for not smoking inside. Please dispose of cigarettes responsibly without fire hazard.

MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS
Every effort will be made to repair air conditioning, heat, TVs, appliances, fixtures, etc. as soon as possible. Just like at home, our cabin can experience an unanticipated problem. Although repairs will be made as soon as possible, no refunds will be given.
PARKING
Parking is limited to 3 cars in the driveway at River Glorious.
NO PETS
Any pets discovered before departure will be cause for eviction without refund of all monies paid and deposit or after departure will result in forfeiture of deposit.
CLEANING
River Glorious will be cleaned prior to your arrival and after your departure. You will be responsible for the cleaning during your stay and for leaving the cabin in good condition at checkout. Please remember that you are staying in a privately owned “cabin”, so please treat it as you would want someone to treat your cabin. If accommodations are left damaged or unusually messy (such as unwashed dishes, garbage left in the house or stains on the furniture or carpet), your security deposit will be forfeited or an additional cleaning charge will be charged to your credit card.

WALNUT MOUNTAIN ASSOCIATION
STRICTLY ENFORCED RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR RENTERS
All renters and their guests shall abide by these rules and regulations. Any violation of these rules and regulations shall result in immediate eviction of all renters and their guests from the property without refund of all monies and deposit.
Walnut Mountain is a gated, residential community. The Walnut Mountain Association is responsible for maintaining the beautiful mountain landscape and its peaceful surroundings. Please respect the residents and other renters and adhere to these strictly enforced Rules and Regulations to ensure the safety and enjoyment of the community. Thank you for your cooperation.
HUNTING AND FISHING
Hunting of any type is not permitted. Firearm use is prohibited. No weapons including paintball launcher, bow and arrow, slingshots, knives, hatchets, spears and other projectiles. Fishing is permitted in the Spring Lakes picnic area pond only. Picnicking and river access are permitted just upstream of the covered bridge. Please park in the parking area adjacent to the office. All trash must be removed from these areas. Please make sure that your vehicle is not blocking any roadway while fishing or picnicking.
SWIMMING
Swimming is NOT permitted in any of the Walnut Mountain lakes. You may only access Turniptown Creek in front of the property you are renting. You may not leave the creek on any resident's property.
HIKING AND WALKING
If you hike or walk, please use the roads. Do NOT trespass on neighbors' properties including on private drives, paths or walkways.
PARKING
Parking is limited to the area or driveway of the property rented. Do NOT park on the street or adjoining property.
VEHICLES
Motorcycles, motorbikes, trail bikes, golf carts, mules, trailers, campers, ATVs, 4 wheelers, skate boards, skates, are NOT permitted by renters on any Walnut Mountain roads.
ROADS AND SPEED LIMITS
Pedestrians and wild animals use the roads as well as vehicles. The roads inside this community are narrow with hills and curves that limit sight. Please keep your speed within the posted 5 mph or 15 mph limits.
NOISE
Noise of any type that disturbs or annoys Walnut Mountain residents is NOT permitted. This includes shouting, screaming, horseplay, pet noises, loud television, radio or sound systems at anytime during the day or night. Loud or improper behavior is NEVER permitted. Disorderly conduct or unreasonable noise will not be permitted. Observe quiet time before 7:30 AM and after 9:00 PM which will be strictly enforced by Walnut Mountain security.
NUISANCE
No person or persons shall create a nuisance or disturbance to the community at any time. Parents are responsible for the actions of their children. Children must be supervised at all times. No renter shall jeopardize the soundness and safety of the community.
PROHIBITION OF DAMAGE, NUISANCE AND NOISE
Noxious, destructive or offensive activity shall not be carried on. Renters will refrain from any activity that could reasonably cause embarrassment, disturbance, discomfort, nuisance or annoyance to property owners.
INTOXICATION
No intoxication from alcohol or drugs.
PETS
Pets must be under control of their owner at all times and not allowed to wander. (Pets are not permitted at River Glorious. Any pets on the properties will be grounds for eviction and loss of all monies paid.)
FIREWORKS
Sparklers and fireworks of any kind are illegal and not permitted in the Walnut Mountain community.
FIRES
Open fires, campfires and fire pits are not allowed. Ashes from fireplaces and grills must be disposed of in a safe manner.
TRESPASSING
Do not trespass on any other property. Parents monitor children.
EVICTION
All renters and their guests shall abide by these rules and regulations. Any violation of these rules and regulations shall result in immediate eviction of all renters and their guests from the property.
FORFEITURE OF RENT AND DEPOSIT
Violation of any policies will automatically result in forfeiture of full rental payment and security deposit.
